Favorite Characters, in alphavetical order: Daiki/Kamen Rider DiEnd [Kamen Rider Decade]
I loved this arc <3
I LAUGHED SO HARD I CRIED YOU GUYS
WELL.
Tsukasa and Yuusuke…..(^_^)b
:D
I’m 90% moved by the storyline between these two—so much so that I actually got a little misty-eyed—and 10% worried how horribly their friendship could be misinterpreted if you have a pervy mind.
yeah…but when I think about it, it was really nicely done. In the Kiva world we had Fangire and Humas that struggled to co-exist together and I haven’t seen Kiva but I think I get the gist from decade. Thus, I think that on some level, Yuusuke and Wataru’s friendship was supposed to show that also a friendship between adults and children can exist, and it doesn’t has to be degrated adult: protector and child: protege type of relationship. I mean, it’s a show for kids, they have to learn something from it. So I think They’re supposed to learn that adults are not bad or smth XD what pains me is HOW it was executed. Yuusuke is a very sweet and caring person and a natural empath and he evidently didn’t have any dirty purposes towards Wataru, but I know how adults can view that. I know how I VIEWED THAT. IDK maybe children in japan are thought differently. tl;dr again.
Oh yeah, I get why they did it (in fact, what pains me is that this is one of the first and last times we really get to see that character trait of Yuusuke’s in Decade) though I actually think it was very well executed—provided you keep the context firmly in mind. If you take the scenes out of context, it’s easy to focus on the “Yuusuke keeps telling Wataru he’ll take him wherever he wants to go and gives him candy!” part. Just gotta remember the bigger picture to keep the giggles at bay: Wataru is a prince with a lot of responsibility who wasn’t really allowed to just be a kid, yet he ends up befriending someone who is child-like at heart. It was very sweet, just… it was almost so innocent in its message that it didn’t realize how hinky it might look, you know? I’m not sure about it being a lesson for kids that being friends with adults is okay but maybe that factors in a little… Looking back on it, this was one of my favorite plots that Decade ever had because it was so focused on character (and featured my favorite character actually doing something
for once… yes, Yuuseless was my favorite).lol I don’t think he was useless. like I said in my other post, I think he didn’t get the proper exposure and when Daiki appeared (don’t get me wrong I love Daiki like A LOT) he kinda stole the show. and I blame the creators for this and yes Yuusuke was also my favorite :D I love Murai, he’s one of the most adorable human being on earth period.
Oooh, sorry, I misinterpreted! Well, in that case I totally agree with your point. Though I did like him a lot, Daiki never really stole my attention away. I can see why working with a character with more mystery would be more appealing to the writers but… well, whatever, I’ll just sit in my corner and fangirl over Onodera and Murai ;) It always breaks my heart a little remembering how often he was pushed to the side in Decade after the first handful of episodes, but it was still a fun show.
And that’s what fanfiction is for anyway.
or how he was treated by other characters broke my heart sometimes ;__; I know, still there is not that much ff for toku fandom in general D: I wish Murai appeared more in dramas and that they’d be subbed. he’s as cute as button and I really crave more of him ;;

He has the cutest smile, I can’t even take it you guys. It’s one of those infectious ones that make you smile too when you see it.
Aww yuusuke..
I think that’s one of the few things he actually has in common with his regular counterpart.
Actually that’s the ONLY thing they have in common imo. Seriously I don’t even think he was SUPPOSED to be Kuuga, it was probably supposed to be another Yuusuke. I seriously think Narutaki just took the Kuuga belt from the AR Agito’s world and then went to a world where Dai Shocker dumped Grongi then gave it to him, that’s why he was there at the time and that’s why the N Deguva said it didn’t belong there.
interesting theory :o still Yuusuke was awesome Kuuga even if i haven’t seen the original yet shhhh. it was just that the creators didn’t gave him the proper exposure that he deserved. He was great, and I loved his character. I think Tsukasa would be screwd without him,.
tl;dr I LOVE YUUSUKE AND MURAI.
