yes, Shishido, your coach’s pun was lame. Inui got to be a mummy so fast and Sanada is an M. why do I feel that this makes Yukimura and S? Kinchan thinks about his stomach only, and Momo calling him by his first name and Kin-chan calling Kaido a catterpillar lol, they are all so adorable.

even tho I never was an Atobe fangirl, I liked him just fine, but I really LOVED this ep. granted, I’m really annoyed by Irie or any other high schooler (fucking Oni) and I cheered Atobe in the manga but here I was all “fuck, just kick his ass ksajdsdakj”. The chant. THE CHANT WAS SO AWESOME OMG. that team is getting better and better. I really loved their support and Akaya was so fiercely yelling “Atobe-saaaaaan” sdjhsafdjhdaakjsd so cute.
Also Atobe. ATOBE GOT CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT. If there is one thing that makes me like him is his sense of responsibility and honor. I mean, he is a good captain, despide being himself and but of an arrogant bastard sometimes that you want to punch or roll your eyes at. But. He is a good captain. responsible and he can be supportive.
The AtoTez part….I just realized at the end that I really liked their friendship more, but I get why it’s such a popular pairing.

Yamato is kind of a hypocryite. First, he put this “burden” of a responsibility of supporting Seigaku on Tezuka and now he’s like “ah, well you know, you should stop being so responsible. look I have a big ol scar on my arm, because I sacrificed so much for my team. you should enjoy tennis blah blah.” and then he kinda says to Tezuka that “well, you know, actually you should do what you want.”

if there is a character who takes tennis more seriously than anyone else in this anime is Tezuka. he is groomed to be a winner. there is no ‘fun’, it’s hard work. and I got a bit angry at Yamato. first he inspires Tezuka to be larger than life and support everyone, because he, himself is to weak to admit that well, maybe he can’t be the support for seigaku. So what do you do? you dump it on your junior.
auugh.
and then you kinda disregard his feelings, because he might get hurt. DUDE, he got hurt. he was away on rehabilitation twice, he knows pain. and it’s not like he’s gonna stop because of that. and it’s not like he only believes that he is the pillar. HE IS THE PILLAR, HE LIVES AS A NEVER ENDING SUPPORT OF HIS TEAM. NOT ECHIZEN. IT’S HIM.
So I was happy when the “team” said they are his support, it was really sweet.
speaking of the team, Atobe acted like a jealous boyfriend? and why do I see pairings that I.DON’T.LIKE. and think “hm, well that is kinda gay-OH WAIT IT’S ATOTEZ NOOOO”
I normally don’t have so many Tezuka feelings, but Yamato kinda gets on my nerves here.
